Hey guys, I’m planning to livestream some work on those Ransom of Mack Storyboards when I get home from work tonight. I’ll post the link when I go live, hopefully some of you cool kids can make it! :D

Maybe I will make an effort to watch Star Trek Voyager because that was adorable.

I just turned on the tv to space and Star Trek voyager is on and I’ve never watched before and I don’t know what’s happening but there’s a Vulcan named Tuvak and he’s making cakes and everybody is really happy and then Janeway came in and was asking him to remember something and then he got really upset oh no baby what’s wrong no shh go back to making cakes

I just realized that the design I came up with for the narrater character in these Ransom of Mack storyboards looks like Kurt from an AU where he was a gold miner instead of a ghost hunter.

I get a lot of questions on the Frank Reilly method since I was trained in it under Jeff Watts, Erik Gist, Lucas Graciano and Ben Young. I really can’t give a comprehensive guide on it and there’s very little information on it. I don’t think I am the best person to talk about it though since I’ve only been trained in it for a 6 month duration.

But here’s a video from Glen Orbik. I noticed Nathan Fowkes also uses the Frank Reilly method in his portraits. 

Fred Fixler was also trained in it who has a lot of notes up here. Not so much on the Reilly method but regardless good notes.
